What is a sexologist for
Sexology is a discipline that brings together medicine, biology, psychology and sociology, with the aim of explaining the many facets of human sexuality and of treating sexual disorders. In those, body, thoughts and emotions are cannot be taken separately from one another.
The sexologist is the professional figure to look for, as an individual or in a couple, for issues concerning the intimate and sexual sphere.
What we treat
Sexual desire disorders: decrease of lack of sexual desire and lack of interest in sexual activity.

Arousal disorders: impotence or erectile dysfuntion in men, excitement disorders in women.

Orgasmic disorder: female anorgasmia, premature or delayed ejaculation.

Sexual pain disorder: vaginismus, dyspareunia e vulvodynia

We also inform and aducate about sex, taking into accounto also the psychological and emotional aspects concerning sexuality; we provide information on the physiology of the sexual response cycle, on the main sexual disorders and on the characteristics of sexuality during specific life events (e.g. pregnancy, postpartum, mourning, stress, organic diseases, etc.)
